Maegan Carney has been a psychotherapist for over 20 years and has a Masters in Transpersonal Counselling Psychology as well as degrees in Sports Science and Philosophy. She believes that we are all moving towards wholeness and that the problems in our lives are fundamentally drawing our attention to the lessons we need to learn. She is very intuitive and compassionate yet also willing to confront distortions in people's thinking that are keeping them stuck. Her style is heart-centred and holistic, body, fluidly addressing the mind, spirit and emotions. She honed her counselling skills in Boulder, Bio-Energetic, Colorado and developed an approach that is an eclectic blend of Existential, Gestalt and Jungian therapy. She is also a two-time World Champion in Extreme Skiing. Maegan works with adults and couples and offers a free 30-minute consultation to ensure that there is a 'good fit' and that she has expertise in the areas of your inquiry.
